KU Resources, Inc. has added Tysen Miller, a licensed professional engineer, to its staff as an engineering manager. Mr. Miller’s civil engineering background includes wide-ranging experience in commercial and residential site development. He is heading the coordination of KU’s engineering disciplines to optimize client service and is also responsible for streamlining many of the firm’s business processes, including preparation of RFPs, budgeting, scheduling and managing client relationships.
“Tysen’s wealth of experience and numerous contacts should enable us to expand our presence in the commercial and residential development sectors, as well as in other markets,” says Michael Dowling, a business unit manager at KU Resources. “We are pleased that he is advancing his career with us.”
Prior to joining KU Resources, Mr. Miller was employed by GAI Consultants as a senior engineering manager. In that capacity, he performed civil engineering services on the Regional Industrial Development Corporation’s (RIDC’s) ALMONO riverfront development project at the former LTV Steel site in Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood.
Mr. Miller earned an MBA, as well as Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering, from Drexel University.
